Step 2 - AI Search (automatic results with % match)
Results come from publicly available web profiles via live Google search. Only public information is shown - contact candidates through their profile link. No candidate data is stored on the server. Always verify details on the profile before contacting.
How this works:Run AI Search pulls live candidates straight into this page and scores each one against your role. Prefer to search yourself? The manual Google searches below still work exactly as before, and the Quick Log panel on the right saves anyone you want to shortlist.

User Guide
Find, score and shortlist real candidates from public web profiles - in three steps.
Step 1 - Describe the role
Fill in the Job Title and Location (both required for best results). Add comma-separated Skills, an Experience level, and any Exclude Words (for example "recruiter, agency" to filter out non-candidates). Switch on Only show people open to work to prioritise active job seekers.
Step 2 - Run AI Search
Optionally paste the full job advert into the large box - the AI reads it and extracts the requirements automatically, which gives noticeably better matches.
Tick the sources to search: LinkedIn (UK) is the richest for most roles; GitHub and Stack Overflow are for technical roles; Public CVs finds CV documents and portfolio sites.
Click Run AI Search. Live results usually appear within 15-30 seconds.
Reading the % match
Each candidate is scored 0-100 against your role: skills and experience evidence 50%, job title relevance 25%, location fit 15%, seniority fit 10%.
75%+ strong match50-74% possible matchBelow 50% weak match
The bullet points under each candidate explain the score. Scores are based only on what is publicly visible, so always click Open profile to verify before contacting anyone.
Pull all your best matches in one click
Above the AI results is a Top matches bar. Set the minimum match % (default 60%, adjustable), then:
Shortlist all matches - adds every candidate at or above your threshold to the shortlist in one click (duplicates are skipped automatically).
Export matches to CSV - downloads every candidate at or above your threshold straight to a CSV, with their skills and a plain-English experience summary in their own columns. Open it in Excel or Google Sheets.
Step 3 - Build your shortlist
The Shortlist and its Export CSV button now sit at the top of the right-hand panel so they are always visible. Click Save to shortlist on any AI result - the name, location, skills, profile link and match % are saved automatically. You can also log someone manually lower down the panel. Export CSV downloads the whole shortlist; Clear all empties it. The shortlist is stored in this browser only and stays until you remove entries.
Manual fallback
Prefer searching yourself? Generate Searches builds the same expert Boolean queries and opens them in Google in a new tab - no AI or API needed.
Contacting candidates
Only publicly available information is shown, so contact details are not harvested. Reach out through the candidate's profile link (for example a LinkedIn message). This keeps your sourcing compliant with UK GDPR.
